different procedure than Hardwood floor repairs. Depending on the location of
the damaged piece, the procedure varies. If the damaged piece of laminate floor is a
few rows in from the wall, the rows will be removed and the damaged piece will
be taken out and replaced with a good one. The rows then installed the same way
they came out.
If the damaged floor piece is in
the center of the room, away from the wall, the floor piece will be cut out with
precision, and the new floor piece will be placed in with wood glue and intricate
cutting to place the new board in. It will appear as though nothing was ever wrong with
your floor.
